THE PROBLEM

Too may people are experiencing excessive and constant pressure to deliver on the demands from work and home. There is often a goal to be on top of your game professionally, with your business, and personally, with your partner, family and life commitments… BUT, in the modern day of 24/7 always-on connectivity, work from home context, rapid change and financial pressures, the concept of work-life balance has gone out the window. Most people are finding it hard to the live the life they want.

Too many are stretched too thin, and never have enough time to meet the demands at both work and home. Burnout, already a reality for the past decade, is on a meteoric rise. Burnout is now the #1 reason people are leaving their places of employment, and experiencing on average 41 days of lost productivity, never mind the impact on lives outside the workplace.

On top of all of this, you don’t know what you can do to solve the problem, and you may not even know which problem you need to start with.

In high pressure contexts, the first problem to solve is the ENERGY PROBLEM. We talk too much about time being our #1 resource, but time is not even a resource, it is a constraint, it doesn’t change, there are still 24 hours in every day. Time is the constraint in which to manage our real human resources - attention, focus, effort, and the key resource that underpins all of them = ENERGY.

There are over 5 decades now of research in sport science on balancing stress and recovery to optimise available energy, avoid injury, fatigue and burnout, and maximise performance. This research doesn’t just apply to athletes. It applies to human beings. This is your starting point for getting out of stress and burnout and for moving up the continuum to maximising performance.

INTRODUCING the EHP program for individuals

The Energy Health Performance program is a comprehensive, science- based learning, development and applied experience, designed to transform your life from stressed out, burnt out, stuck and underperforming to energised, effective, motivated and performance-ready. The program address energy imbalances around the Mental, Emotional, Social, Environmental and Physical aspects of your world to re-set and re-engage in your life.

The program has 4 core elements:

  1. building your knowledge - learning the science of stress-recovery balance, so you are empowered to make the right decisions about your energy, health and performance for the rest of your life

  2. changing your energy health habits - applying systems and tools to create small changes in your daily energy health behaviours, particularly around multi-category recovery (physical, mental, emotional, social and environmental)

  3. developing mindsets - identifying unhelpful, harmful, energy draining mindsets and building helpful mindsets around self care, smart health, and resilience

  4. energy diagnostics - using the energy health app, combined with your knowledge and increased self-assessment capabilities to diagnose and respond effectively to your shifting energy states
